Is Teachnear free for students?
Yes. Searching for teachers and sending lesson requests is free. Each teacher sets their own lesson price, shown on their profile when they’ve added it.
How do I find a teacher?
Search by subject, exam or teacher name, add your city or choose online, then compare profiles: subjects, levels, prices, lesson formats and reviews.
How does a lesson request work?
On a teacher’s profile, tell them your goal, level and when you’re free. The teacher gets your request and replies to you directly to agree on the first lesson.
Can I take lessons online?
Yes. Many teachers teach online as well as in person. Choose “Online” in the search to see them, wherever you live.
How are reviews checked?
Only students who booked and finished a lesson can leave a review. Teachers can reply once, publicly, but can’t edit or remove reviews.
I’m a teacher. How do I join?
Create a free profile, add your subjects, prices and when you teach, and you can start receiving lesson requests.
